Valentines for Dudes

I have been thinking about this post for a while and had a really hard time coming up with the title.  The gist of it is that today's cards are valentines for my sons.  They are 17 and 19.  And let's be honest they don't want a card that says "be mine" or "I love you" right on the front, from their parents.  I'm guessing they also don't care for the pink color family or anything too blingy.

I started searching for a cute name for boy valentines-couldn't find one.  And bythe way, malentines was taken and not the definition I was going for.

But if you get down to the "heart" (pun intended) of the matter, they are probably just in ithis holiday for the cash and prizes.  So a quick card with a thoughtful gift (gift card) might be the way to go.

I decided the cards I made for my class might be too girly so I made them each this card.  I used Tip Top Taupe and Soft Suede with Cherry Cobbler to give it a masculine feel.  So hopefully this is to their liking.  Inside I will put a little gift card and remind them how much I love them and am proud of them.  Of course, along with cards - chocolate for all!
