So today is my husband's grandmother's birthday. Grandma Steele is 99 today and still plays golf, still lives alone and has a wonderful spirit about her. Grandma loves to get mail-so our plan was for each of the 5 of us to send a card to her. And we will, but they are all late.
This card was made with one of this year's "In colors", Mint Macaron. I love this color! So this card was quick and simple, the best kind! I dipped a sponge dauber into the coordinating mint ink and made a backdrop of polka dots. The oval was cut with the oval thinlits on the Bigshot and stamped with mint. And then I topped it off with Very Vanilla ribbon. This is probably one of the quickest cards I have made, but also one of my favorites.
I added a few polka dots to the envelope to give it a festive look. I'm not sure how the post office feels about it-I hope it makes them smile!
